Carts too. the greens need work they are very bumpy and some of the fairways were washed out from the rain so they covered them with sand and dirt, Course was in terrible shape...looks like it was in a flood zone..greens were very bad. - Fairways are good. Always a great experience, friendly staff and a fairly challenging course from the tips. Honestly it's the best that I've seen it in 3 years. Fairways needs more attention, especially around the greens and many of the middle fairway. Let the world see your experience through your eyes. Not distant from downtown Atlanta and only five miles from Atlanta Hartfield-Jackson International Airport, the 18-hole Browns Mill Golf Course offers tremendous views and challenging play for golfers at every skill level. She is not friendly at all and never very helpful. This place needs a starter and a Marshall. Great value for being so close to downtown. This course is wide and allows for recovery on bad shots. The front nine offers three small lakes that will occasionally grab a wayward ball. It's... Just a couple of beginning comments on the previous reviews: 1) This is a lower income neighborhood, but it is perfectly safe for anybody to drive to this golf course from I75 and play golf. The starter did not have a t sheet and there was a crowd of people around the first tee.
Sand was decent, not great, not bad. Browns Mill & Chastain. We had time to kill whilst waiting for an evening flight back to the UK. Nothing extravagant but it gets the job done. As I have said elsewhere, I would happily play this as my home course. Great value for the money , course is in good condition. This was the 3rd time on this track. Course was extremely muddy but it did rain about 1.5 inches 5 days prior. I go there when I am playing by myself because it is only a 10 minute drive and it is very cheap. Took 5 hours to play. The traps are kept trimmed and clean; the greens are well maintained.

I am off 13, anf my buddy is off 3. Really enjoyed the course, despite the previous day's rain. Greens rolled true even after the onslaught of rain Atlanta has experienced the last 3 months.
