In my reading of the piece by Tunde Fagbenle, "Pastor Adeboye: Buying a plane to see God", what disturbed me the most was that the writer's friend like many Christians seem to associate wealth with God's blessing. Adeboye, has reacted sharply to a shocking revelation by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Believers Love World, a.k.a. $28m Jet for Pastor Adeboye Recently there has been a rash of commentaries on the decision of the Redeemed Church to spend $28m on a jet for the GO. Redeemed church have a University.It should be a free University,but no,its one of the most expensive Universities in Africa,if not the world.This is part of the money Adeboye has used in buying a private jet! Christians and indeeed Redeemers ought to be outraged by the profligacy of the leadership of Redeemed Church.

When I read the article "Redeemed Church acquires N4bn aircraft" and hear of other pastors getting rich off of the tithes people are giving to God I am completely sickened. It could be assumed or inferred that while flying the private jet, there was insufficient aviation fuel, and the guage ignored, because with God all things are possible; Pastor Adeboye could not avoid a crash. I know this post will attract some hate and bigotry, but if you can be honest with yourself and face the truth instead of acting like the “idiots” some of you are good at acting.
